Save Money on Dry Cleaning
For the past 10 years, I have not been to the dry cleaners. I wash all of my slacks, sweaters and dresses in my washer on the gentle cycle. The secret, however, is that I put all of my delicates and dry cleaning items in a pair of pantyhose tops. I cut the legs off of my old pantyhose and fill the top panty — then I’ll knot off the top and bottom and throw it in the washer. It keeps out the lint and it keeps my clothes looking new with out fading or snagging. I hang my things to dry and they smell wonderful, unlike the dry cleaning fluid.
