Extended Casting Call: ABC and Mark Burnett’s Shark Tank

We just learned that "Shark Tank" has extended their casting call and has also opened casting to established businesses that need an injection of capital. Here's what they sent us:
The producers of the new ABC reality series “Shark Tank” are on a nationwide search to discover the next successful -- and possibly wealthy -- entrepreneurs, inventors, businesspersons, dreamers, promoters, creators and innovators.
If you have an existing business that needs a financial injection or feel you have a lucrative business idea but just can't seem to secure the financial backing to get it off the ground, then “Shark Tank” is just the show for you. Casting is looking for aspiring entrepreneurs who can pitch their breakthrough business concepts, products, properties and services to moguls in hopes of landing investment funds.
If selected, five real-life, tough investors could be willing to part with their own hard-earned cash and give you the funding you need to jumpstart your idea. Apply now for a chance to enter the “Shark Tank" and see if your idea survives.

I have discovered a very serious flaw in the design of automobile foot controls that i believe has caused the deaths of literally thousands of drivers and their passengers. The present design forces the driver to violate a very natural and instinctual physiological response to fast changing emergency conditions that often results in collision and death. The design creates an additional psychological problem for those drivers who have very little, if any, affinity or understanding of mechanical systems and procedures. such condition leads to the driver's confusion, hesitation to brake, and often pressing on the accelerator by mistake instead of a brake, which again leads to countless deaths. I have invented a correction to this design problem and have patented half of the invention. I have yet to patent the other most important half but have run completely out of funds. I will need an additional $100,000 to finish filing a PCT with the PTO. I am willing to share 1/2 of royalties from the invention with anyone who will invest. I have contacted several physiologist and psychologist and they believe I am on the right track. If you are interested or know of anyone who is interested, please contact me before December 19, 2009 or it will be too late.

I actaully tried to call about this extended casting call for Shark Tank. I even sent out an email. I heard nothing back either way. Have they shut the door on the casting for this season? Does anyone know?
