Is Your Product Perfect for Celebrity Gift Bags or Network TV?
As many of you know, celebrity endorsements can be good exposure for your product. In my first book, the Mom Inventors handbook, I mentioned BackStage Creations. This company is the Official Gift Company for many high-powered Hollywood events. They are accepting gifts now for American Century Golf Tournament with Michael Jordan, Teen Choice Awards hosted by the Jonas Brothers, and Mitchel Musso's Birthday Party. If your product fits the bill just fill out this form to get more info. There is a fee associated with this opportunity.
If you want to go the free route, then send your product to a TV host on a network that's going to discuss a topic relevant to your product. I've heard many success stories of TV hosts holding up items that illustrate the topic they're talking about. Usually you can get a sneak peek of topics a week in advance from the show's website. You can find their addresses online by looking up the TV network (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, etc.), show title and mailing address. Make sure you write the name of the host on the package. Send it priority mail and put a star on the outside of the package that says "this product supports your segment on 'X'".
Have you had success with TV placement or gift bags? I'd love to hear about it!

I would like to learn more about how to utilize the celebrity events for the biggest marketing bang. I've done one, have photos, and video, but what next.
