Count Me In Promotes Million-Dollar Women’s Businesses
You've made the decision and taken the plunge to start your own business. You are now realizing how much there is to know and how much there is to do. Take a deep breath and step back. You are not alone. Count Me In for Women's Economic Independence, leading national not-for-profit provider of micro loans and business education for women entrepreneurs, is building a community of growth-oriented, women entrepreneurs. Their programs help provide the fundamental building blocks and tools so you can set your vision and reach your business goals and potential.
Count Me In is not your typical lender. The organization is truly committed to helping women achieve economic independence. They offer two opportunities:
Micro to millions. For start-ups and smaller businesses with potential to grow, this program offers micro loans (up to $10,000), access to business coaching, and other benefits.
Make Mine a Million $ Business. This awards program is for scalable businesses poised to reach a million dollars in revenue within 18 months. The program provides up to $50,000 of financing, mentoring, marketing, and technology tools needed to help grow your business to over a million dollars in revenue.
"When you want to build your business, you don't have to do it alone," said Nell Merlino, President, Count Me In. "Make Mine a Million $ Business is building a community for women who are growing their businesses to the million dollar mark by learning from and challenging each other."
To be considered for either the Make Mine a Million $ Business or for the Micro to Millions $ program, you must apply at www.makemineamillion.org. Award recipients and micro loan participants are announced at events held periodically throughout the year, at various locations throughout the country.
Make Mine a Million $ Business is also a movement to inspire one million women entrepreneurs to reach annual revenues of $1 million by the year 2010. Be one of them.
