ABWA Provides Development Opportunities for Women Entrepreneurs
Are you seeking access to professional development and networking opportunities on the national level - with a local spin? Then the ABWA (American Business Women's Association) may be for you. The ABWA's mission is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations, and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition.
ABWA offers members the inside track on the issues facing their local communities by providing local chapter membership, as well as plugging them into the trends and events that drive today's national businesses. Members get access to leadership development programs, networking opportunities, awards and recognition, and the Association's award-winning bimonthly national magazine, Women in Business.
While the organization is geared toward all women in business, it also offers a special program for women entrepreneurs called Company Connection®. Once you join the ABWA, Company Connection is an add-on service that provides valuable tools to start or grow your business, including online advertising, exclusive training opportunities and resources, and online business news, trend reports and quarterly newsletters.
"ABWA's Company Connection program offers both the established and aspiring business owner the opportunity to make valuable contacts with other business owners, prospective customers and suppliers," says ABWA's Chief Operations Officer René Street.
